  Roland Ngom

Roland is a multi instrumentists (Guitar, Bass, Piano, percu). But he mainly plays guitar and make vocals in the band. He is also a productive composer and arrange the most of the songs of the bands. Roland has a long experience with music in Cameroon and France. He produced and made studio for a long time in Cameroon. He plaid in various bands in France during 5 years.

Among his favourite artists: Manu Dibango, Ben Harper, Miles davis, Herbie hangkok, Richard Bona, Lokua kanza and tracy chapman are the preferred.

Among his favourite rythms: jazz, Afro beat, Afro roots, alternative

Roland likes playing football, debating and reading.

  Sarah Rothfluss
 

Sarah is composing songs and singing the lead vocal in the band. She loves all kind of World Music… real music! Especially african, asian and also south american sounds are her favourites but to keep balance she’s also committed to Soul, R’n’B, Jazz and Reggae.

 Joy Denalane, Erykah Badu, Whitney Houston and Eva Cassidy inspired (and are still inspiring) her.

Sarah likes travelling, to get to know different cultures, traditions and to expand the own horizon. After spending five months in India, half a year in Israel and trips to Egypt, Mexico and almost all countries of Europe she’d like to discover her own country (Germany) much better, now as well as Romania, where her grandmother comes from.

Nathan Rodrigues (Nash)

Nathan plays bass he likes African pop, but also various kinds of world music.

Among his favourite artists are Richard Bona, Etienne Mbappe.

Nathan like reading and Cinema.

Timo Jährling 

Timo plays Cello i the band but he can also play guitar. He is a fan of Metal rock, His favourite artists is Apocalyptica.

 

 

Michel Mokelo

Michel is an experienced percussionist and professional dancer. He gives African percussions and African dance courses in various places in Germany. Michel allows the introduction of tied rythm in the kalbasse music while keeping the acoustic spirit of our performance. Michel is also a good singer and perform vocals in the band.

My dear Sarah and the group you guys are wonderful, keep it up. I am a lover of jazz, R and B, Country music, i would have love to be part of the group but presently i am in Nigeria.
